Corinna, known as Curry, owes her unusual surname to her family’s Serbian roots. She has represented Germany on more than 70 occasions, usually taking the Middle Hitter position. According to Curry, volleyball players are surprisingly injury-prone. Played at this level, the game is both extremely fast and highly competitive.

"Every time I go over on my ankle, inevitably it leads to painful ligament strain which can keep me out of the game for days at a time. Since I’ve been wearing the supports, I’ve had a much better injury record". Getting the Women’s National Volleyball Team to wear the AirCast (AirGo) for both training sessions and matches has really improved the injury prevention record, explains Physio Patrick Rissler: “The semi-rigid shell provides an excellent fit which, combined with the enhanced stability of the ankle joint, means that these braces are ideal for all professional sportsmen and women.“
