Steve Ramon Back on Track

After his neck injury in the Dutch GP in April, Compex rider Steve Ramon had a long road to recovery ahead of him. Last weekend in the Grand Prix of Belgium, the double world champion made his return to the world championship MX1. Ramon rode a brilliant race to finish 4th overall. “I was really happy with this result”, the Suzuki-rider said. “Its been a long time since I rode a GP, so I didn’t know how competitive I was. But my speed was ok and i’m sure that in the remaining GP’s i’ll be able to do even better than 4th place.”

The Belgian made good use of his Compex device to strengthen his neck muscles and keep his overall muscular fitness on a good level. “I was a bit afraid of the pain in my neck in the heavy sand of Lommel”, said Ramon. “But I didn’t feel anything, my neck is totally ok now. The hard work during the months of recovery has payed off. I look forward to the rest of the season.”
