Stephen Sword turns to Compex

British MX2 Grand Prix star Stephen Sword didn’t have the race he was hoping for in the Spanish GP in Bellpuig. De factory KTM-rider crashed during practice and hurt his neck. He tried to ride in the first heat, but couldn’t manage better than a 23rd place. Between the races Swordy was treated by Compex expert Heiko Van Vliet. “I used a Compex Mi Sports device on him”, Heiko Van Vliet said. “The muscles on the left side of his neck were as hard as a rock. We can’t to miracles, but using the Compex device we managed to reduce the pain and get the muscles going again. Stephen will have to get his neck checked this week. After talking to the KTM physical trainer Twan van den Heuvel we decided it was safe for him to ride the second heat.”

Sword clearly felt better after the Compex treatment. He managed to get back into the points and with a 12th place finish he finished 11 places higher then he did before the treatment. In his home GP in 2 weeks in Mallory Park, Sword will be charging for the win again.
