Solid Result for Tanel Leok in Portugal

It’s been a good weekend for the DJO riders in MX1. While Antonio Cairoli totally decimated the competition, co-team rider Tanel Leok put in solid rides in both heats.
The Estonian MX star battled his way back to 6th position in the opening heat and in the second heat of the day Leok did even better with a top 5.
Leok uses Compex for his training, preparation and recuperation and he was clearly physically very strong by the end of the exhausting second heat.
“It’s been a good day for me”, laughed the estonian. I was aiming for a podium, but I didn’t get the starts to make that happen. But I’m happy with my riding and I know I’m a contender for the podium. For the win, it looks like nobody is in the same league as Cairoli at this moment…”
Tanel Leok now sits in 5th in the world championship standings, just 2 points behind number 4 Josh Coppins and 10 points behind 3rd man Jonathan Barragan. In less than a week, the world’s fastest motorcross riders travel to Belpuig for the Spanish GP. After wins in the GP of Italy and strong finishes in all other GP’s, the talented Estonian aims for big points in Spain again.
