Hard times for Steve Ramon

Double World Champion, Steve Ramon will probably be happy when the 2009 season is over. The Compex rider recovered from a neck injury and last week rode his first race in more than 3 months. In his second GP after his absence, Ramon was unlucky again. His Suzuki stalled on a big hill and the bike couldn’t be started after that, Ramon was forced out of the race. In the second heat Ramon rode a solid race to finish 7th. On top of that, he heard that next year he will no longer be part of the Suzuki factory team. Ramon is now looking for a new ride for next year and some good results in the 2 remaining GP’s to show that he is still one of the fastest people on this planet.

“I fought hard to recover from the neck injury and my Compex was a great help in that”, Ramon says. “Now I just want to put in some good results. I know I’m still on top of my game and I’m very anxious to show that to everyone next season.”
