Cairoli celebrates in style

By winning his 8th Grand Prix of the season, DonJoy rider Tony Cairoli celebrated his new World Title in style. The Sicilian had won his fourth World Title just one week before in Brasil, but that didn’t mean Cairoli took it easy in the penultimate GP of the 2010 season. The world champ was second in the first heat and won the second heat. That was enough to win the overall.
“I didn’t come to the Dutch GP to just celebrate”, he said. “I have many friends here in Holland and a lot of people came by to congratulate me on my World Title, so I wanted to do well in the Dutch sand. I also got my new DonJoy Defiance braces, they are all black, I really like them. I’ll wear them in at training this week and then I’ll race them in my home GP in Italy, next weekend in Fermo. For sure there will be a lot of fans there and I want to be strong there too.”
“It looks like I’ll have another injury free season. After my knee injury, I’m really happy that my DonJoy Defiance braces keep me safe. This is a sport with huge impact on the knees, but I feel very safe with DonJoy and for sure they have contributed towards gaining my 4th World Title.”.
